For several hours the issues of our world were no longer mine to carry. April 8, 2017 goes down in my historical record book as the “Best Day of My Life”. Thank you Cathe Steele for showing me what Heaven will be like. Can’t wait to come back!

Had a wonderful time here last Sunday. the guest artists were amazing & each so uniquely and wonderfully talented. We spent 4 enchanting hours under those beautiful, shady trees enjoying the music and the weather and the quaint surroundings. What a treasure this place is!!

I enjoyed a fabulous songwriter round at the Sunday Social last week, my first time taking a dip in the Frog Pond. It blew my mind… what a special night in a magical place. I will definitely be back for more.

Great farm!

This is the most special place on earth! The music, food and friends are indescribable. You must attend to really appreciate the atmosphere of being out on the farm with open star filled skies, burning fire pits, lighted trees and music filling the air. The music is some of the best folk with a blues flare I have ever heard. I for one will make this place home and call everyone there a little piece of my family! Thank you Cathe for this fantastic venue. Being a musician myself I can really appreciate everything about it, especially the home cooked meals!

I was told about this from a friend that has gone to your events many times. she told me to check out the website and here I am. soooo love the idea, there are summer music nights in the Midwest but nothing like this. the artists backdrop of the “farm” is outstanding.

I was a house sound engineer and taught sound reinforcement at the music school at Swallow Hill Music in Denver for lots of years. I am now teaching school in Fairhope and would love to be involved with the Frog Pond, I hear it’s great!

It was the most wonderful music venue I’ve been to period. I love all of the different exterior spaces you’ve created. It’s very warm and inviting. I’m a architect and I think you all have just done a fabulous job designing a really cool setting. The music was unbelievably good.

We (Dianne O’Connor and I) will definitely be back as soon as we can.

I don’t know how you all schedule musicians. Andy McDonald is my guitar instructor and a blue grass picker. He is very talented. He plays in “Fatman Squeeze” but I think he is better alone with his songs.

My husband and I are serious music listeners. He is a student of the banjo and takes lessons from Alan O’bryant at the Fiddle and Pick in Pegram, Tn. I am a volunteer at the fiddle and pick and I also am the Development Director at the Nashville Shakespeare Festival. I heard about Frog Pond through my connections with Dave Olney. Dave was featured in a Festival show last summer and I became acquainted with him and his music during the run of that show. My husband and I would like to come listen to music at Frog Pond. As of now, we aren’t on the guest list. We sure would love to be though. Thanks for your consideration.

Our second visit to the Frog Pond on February 22nd was totally awesome! We really enjoyed the whole lineup, especially the Mulligan Brothers. We will be back and bring more friends with us.

Had a friend just play there and he loved it….I have a Traditional Jazz Band – Piano – Flgelhorn – Bass or Tuba and Drums…You ever have New Orleans style jazz and traditional music there? Dont’t have a web site but we are on Facebook as Levee Jazz Band….Love to hear from you

Came for the first time last night. It was a magical experience. Great to hear wonderful music. It was almost a trip back in time to the 1970’s growing up in Baldwin County, but the music is waaay better. I hope to bring my 23 year old daughter when she is in town for the holidays. Everyone needs to experience the Frog Pond!

Can’t wait to get there tomorrow! First chance for us this year, and very much enjoyed your efforts and hard work in the past. What a great way for the artists to relax and show us how much they enjoy sharing their talents. Thank You All!!!

Back home after a great vacation in southern Alabama. It was wonderful seeing all our old friends at The Frog Pond – you welcomed us back like family and gave us two weekends of ‘Therapy’. My friend and fellow work out partner knows how I miss my roots in New Orleans and the amazing diversity and culture. She made me aware of the Frog Pond and I am ready to visit. I’m in love with the Frog Pond at Blue Moon Farm!!! Tonight was our first visit to the farm to see Willie Sugarcapps and SugarJane and they were authentically, southern, soulful musicians. I was in blue-hippy-heaven! The experience was truly outstanding. Part of me wants to tell the world and another side wants to keep you all a secret. Thank you Cathe for opening your home and heart. I love love love the farm with fun cabins,campers, and shacks, yard art, “candeliers” and the ambiance of freedom and southern hospitality. We’ll be back!

Wow! The Willie Sugarcapps show tonight was indescribable. They really let it hang out and played scintillating jams. Their harmonies were worth the price of admission but their musicianship soared and took them to a higher level.

Frog Pond is just plain cool. There is nothing else to say. There could be a better place than Frog Pond to listen to music but I have yet to come close to another place that feels so natural.

Want to be there soon!
